I am most reflective of the Creator's image when I create.
Some say creating, crafting, decorating, making things beautiful, is a waste of time--that it's piddly nonsense that doesn't help a soul. Hogwash!
When I am using my hands to form and fashion the things He has made into a work that glorifies Him, my heart soars. I feel alive.
Creating is about using all of me to show His heart to others--to help their hearts feel alive and to yearn for His filling.
Right now I'm inspired by the Soul Restoration online class I'm taking, which is hosted by Melody Ross of Brave Girls Club. I'm crafting my story, allowing God to use art in my soul to heal me and equip me to share His grace and mercy with others.
